Privacy policy

Your data, plainly.

Effective 2 November 2026. Typinground works fully without an account. Data leaves your browser only if you choose to sign in.

Without an account

Your test results, settings and saved page sections are stored by your browser on your device. Typinground doesn't send them anywhere. The extension does nothing on a page until you press its shortcut or button.

With an account

Signing in with Google or GitHub is optional. If you do, we store:

Nothing about you is public. Your results and analysis are visible only to you.

What we don't do

Where it's stored

Accounts and results are stored with Cloudflare (Workers and D1). Sign-in is handled by Google or GitHub under their own privacy policies.

This website

This site uses Umami, a cookie-free analytics service, to count visits and button clicks. It doesn't use cookies or identify you.

Deleting your data

Open the Typinground dashboard, go to Account, and choose Delete account. Your profile, results and sessions are deleted immediately. Uninstalling the extension removes everything stored in your browser.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date. For questions, use the support link on the Typinground listing in the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons.
